On behalf of ZenBuKan, we are pleased to be hosting a Iaido seminar and shinsa in Salt Lake City. The Seminar will be led by Jason Hankins Sensei Iaido Renshi 7 Dan.
This event will be held Friday February 6th through the Saturday February 7th with a Shinsa up to 1st Dan on Sunday February 8th.

Friday February 6th - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Saturday February 7th - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Sunday February 8th - 9:00 am to 11:00 am

The Menjo fee will be collected by either Paypal or Venmo, on the date of the Shinsa after successful completion of the Shinsa.
There will be a ZNKR Iaido seminar taught by Jason Hankins Sensei on Friday and Saturday (Open to all members of AUSKF)
An SWKIF promotion test will be held Sunday, February, 8th.
Examination up to 1st Dan (Shodan) will be available to seminar participants who attend both Friday and Saturday.
Shinsa fee:
$30 payable by Venmo or PayPal will be included in the seminar payment.Menjo fee:
After successfully completing the test, payment will be accepted onsite.

NEW APPROVAL PROCESS FOR SHINSA: All permissions and shinsa questions should be submitted by email
If you are a member of SWKIF you do not need to provide the signature or confirming email from your Federation president.
Non-AUSKF members must be a member of a Kendo Federation recognized by the International Kendo Federation, and must have written permission from their country’s Kendo Federation President.
Members of other Federations will need to provide a signature or email showing that your Federation president is aware of, and approves of, your testing at this event.
If you do not sit in seiza please send us a doctors note. If you do not sit you will have to do the Standing Version of the seated Kata selected for the rank you will be challenging.
