JODO SHINSA

Shinsa will take place on March 14th from 11:00am to 12:00pm

Registration will close on February 28, 2026. At this time registration, test questions, and Federation approval paperwork must be submitted.

***Eligibility Requirements***

Current AUSKF, CKF or FIK Membership.
Foreign attendees may test with permission of their Federation president and copy of menjo. Upload menjo copy to the registration website.

DOCUMENTATION
Send the following documents to sscherr319@proton.me
1. Any Federation President authorization letters or forms for Shinsa.
2. All examination essays.

AUSKF shinsa candidates must be in good standing (fees paid, etc) to be accepted for examination. This status will be verified by AUSKF staff.

Required techniques for each rank
1-Kyu

Individual Kihon (6 total):

1-4 (Honte Uchi through Kaeshi Tsuki)
7 (Kuritsuke)
10 (Tsukihazushiuchi)

Kata:
1-3 (jo and tachi)

1-Dan -- Kata 2-6

Testing Fee Schedule:

Kyu 17 years and under - $30.00
Kyu 18 years and above - $40.00
1-Dan - $50.00

Menjo Fee Schedule:
Menjo Fees will be paid upon successful completion of Shinsa via Paypal.

Kyu 17 years and under - $20.00
Kyu 18 years and above - $30.00
1-Dan - $50.00

SATURDAY ONLY fee.
