On behalf of Salt Lake Kendo & Iaido Kyokai and ZenBuKan, we are pleased to be hosting a kendo seminar and shinsa in Salt Lake City. The seminar will be led by Robert Stroud Sensei, Kendo Kyoshi 7 Dan.
This event will be held Friday April 10th, Saturday April 11th, and Sunday April 12th. Seminar is being planned Friday and Saturday with Kendo examinations through and including Sandan will be held Sunday, April 12th.
Seminar
Friday April 10th - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday April 11th - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Shinsa
Sunday April 12th - 9:00 – 12:00 Shinsa followed by kendo keiko

The Menjo fee will be collected by either Paypal or Venmo, on the date of the Shinsa after successful completion of the Shinsa.

An Kendo promotion test for all Kyu and 1-3 Dan will be held after the seminar on Sunday, April 12th.
You must attend the seminar to take the test. No exceptions!
Shinsa fee:
$30 shinsa fee payable through paypal or venmo.
Menjo fee:
For your Menjo (Rank Certificate) Payment will be collected after the shinsa is completed on Sunday April 12th. Payment can be made by either Paypal or Venmo

APPROVAL PROCESS FOR SHINSA: All Request for Kendo Examination forms and shinsa questions should be submitted by email to davisjordy@gmail.com.
If you are a member of SWKIF (Southwest Kendo & Iaido Federation) please fill out the Request for Kendo Examination form on page 6 of the seminar packet. You do not need
Members of other regional federations should complete the Request for Kendo Examination by and Affiliate Organization of the AUSKF form showing that your federation president is aware of, and approves of, your testing at this event.
