SEMINAR SCHEDULE

On Saturday, October 13, 2018, the venue opens at 8:30 am. The seminar and shinsa along with a lunch break are scheduled from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm.

There will be a preceding Kodansha Class for Yondan and above at the Pieters Family Life Center on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

LUNCH

A lunch of submarine sandwiches is included with the seminar fee.

GROUP DINNER

There will be an informal “Second Dojo” dinner after the seminar and shinsa conclude at:

The dinner is optional and not included with the seminar fee. Please bring cash to the restaurant.

  • The Seminar and Shinsa fees may be on the same check.
  • The Menjo fee must be on a separate check and will be returned or destroyed if needed.
  • Checks and Shinsa answers must be received by October 1, 2018.
  • The mailing address for checks and shinsa answers will be provided after you register.

  • SEMINAR

    October 13, 9:00 am until 4:30 pm

    IAIDO SHINSA

    A shinsa will be offered up to Ikkyu.

    If you are a member of GNEUSKF, AEUSKF or EUSKF, you do not need to provide the signature or confirming email from your Federation president.

    Non-AUSKF members must be a member of a Kendo Federation recognized by the International Kendo Federation and must have written permission from their country’s Kendo Federation.

    Members of other Federations will need to provide a signature or email showing that your Federation president is aware of, and approves of, you taking the examination during this seminar.

    If you do not sit in seiza and you have previously provided a doctor’s note, it is not necessary to provide another one. However, you do need to let us know if you cannot sit in seiza, so we can provide you with standing-only kata.
