A block of rooms have been set aside on a first-come first-served basis for participants at the rate of $109.00 plus tax, breakfast voucher and free parking included. These rates will be available only until May 23, 2016
Lunch:
Lunch (choice of Japanese bento box) will be available on each day Thursday, June 23 to Sunday, June 26. The cost is $15 per person per day.
Dinner Party:
Our Dinner Party will be on Saturday, June 25, at 7.00 p.m. The cost is $35 per person.

1. Complete the online registration starting at the bottom of this page.
2. Print out a confirmation of your registration as shown on the final page of this online registration or from your confirmation email. It will show a total balance due.
3. Write a check for the SAME balance that appears on the confirmation printout and make it payable to “DFWKIK”
4. Send your check AND the confirmation printout to:

Both check and confirmation printout must be received by Friday, June 3, 2016 or your registration will be considered incomplete. Completion of online registration without payment is not possible, and your registration will be cancelled if payment is not received by the deadline.

5. Complete the separate shinsa application form available for download at the bottom section of this page. Note that there are two forms available; complete the form appropriate for the rank you are requesting.
6. Write a check for the menjo fee ONLY and make it payable to “All United States Kendo Federation”.
7. The shinsa application, menjo check, and other documents (ie. doctor's note, if required) must be sent directly to Pam Parker Sensei by Friday, June 3, 2016. Send to:

Deadlines:
Your registration printout AND check must be received by us no later than Friday, June 3, 2016.
Shinsa package and menjo check must be received by Parker Sensei no later than Friday, June 3, 2016.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your mail arrives by this date.
Registration Cancellation:
You must inform the event co-chair of any cancellation. The last date to cancel your event registration with a full refund is Friday, June 10, 2016. There will be no refunds for any form of cancellation after this date.
Registration Changes:
Your online registration can be updated or changed at any time, as long as it is BEFORE you have mailed your payment. You simply need to login with the same AUSKF ID, name, and last name, and follow the registration process again to make your changes. You will get a new confirmation page at the end of the process. However, your registration information will be locked once we receive your payment, and NO changes can be made online after that time. If you want to make any changes to your registration after you have submitted your payment or after the designated deadlines above, please contact the event co-chair (or Parker Sensei for matters related to the Shinsa).

The Taikai is limited to AUSKF members, or non-AUSKF members who are US residents. Please contact the event co-chair if you have a question regarding your membership status.

Examination up to 6 Dan will be available to seminar participants.
Non-AUSKF members must be a member of a Kendo Federation recognized by the International Kendo Federation and must have written permission from their country’s Kendo Federation President.
If you do not sit in seiza, and you have previously provided a doctor’s note, it is not necessary to provide another. You do need to let us know if you cannot sit in seiza, so that we can provide standing-only kata for you.
